INTERBOUNDARY CITY BETWEEN CEUTA AND MOROCCO
How a complex territory such as the border between Ceuta and Morocco can be transformed from within architectural practice?
It is proposed the construction of an inter-boundary city that is placed inside the border, to host refugees and migrants, plus to dynamize the territorial economy. As a consequence, the proposal consists on a city grammar: an opened structure composed by a linear sequence of structural porticos that contain dwellings and external volumes that embody services and public facilities.
As a result, the border becomes a human artefact in the middle of the sweeping landscape; a home for those who had to abandon their hometowns to escape from horror
